Innovating industrial wastewater filtration for Thales
Efficiency in filtration is at the heart of operational performance of any wastewater treatment process.
Thales Australia sought a flexible solution capable of meeting its future needs and long-term wastewater management vision. In July 2013, the company awarded SUEZ a contract for the design, construction and commissioning of our Smartrack™ wastewater membrane filtration system at its Mulwala facility in New South Wales.
Our answer
A flexible, scalable and cost-effective solution
Smartrack™ is the only flexible rack for high-purity water production with interchangeable ultrafiltration modules capable of varied dimensions and different connections.
A
proprietary SUEZ design covered by five patents, Smartrack™ employs a
novel rack system that allows complete interchangeability of
ultrafiltration membrane modules. It’s the first of its kind in
Australia, offering complete flexibility and scalability for future
needs.
The results
Service you can count on
The Smartrack™ wastewater filtration system is designed to reduce discharge wastewater suspended solids levels below licensed limits. With the technology in place, Thales Mulwala now has capacity to treat up to around one megalitre of wastewater each day, and is fully prepared to achieve their long-term industrial wastewater goals.
