Introduction

At SUEZ we are always striving to make sure our workforce reflects the community and customers we serve. Our Female Driver Traineeship program aims to do this by helping women get the qualifications, training and skills to become part of our team, with a permanent, full-time job in a new career as the final outcome for you.

We are beginning our program in Perth and are inviting female candidates to become a trainee and begin a new career with us. We will ensure you attain your Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence or other relevant machinery operation tickets. We will then support you through an ongoing training program until you are ready to take up a role as one of our waste management drivers or machinery operators.

We will mentor and help you all the way, with a “buddy” to train with and go-to support from other female employees and supervisors to give you any guidance or advice you need. This is a great opportunity for you to change your career, to attain some of the most sought-after skills in the market today and to begin a role with a world leader in environmental services.

Our drivers can earn from $60-80,000 a year, depending on overtime worked. Our female drivers find they can earn much more with us than in many other roles open to them in other fields.

Female Friendly

We are an employer that strives to support our female employees. We have developed our policies and practices to help women in our workplace to balance their work life with their many other commitments. Our “Women in Suez” group and the work of our Inclusion and Diversity Council help all managers and other staff to support our female employees though flexible work, pay equity and parental leave.
