Our Innovation Project Manager, Marlene Choo Kun, will be presenting at the Biosolids National Conference 2019. The bi-annual conference hosted by the Australian Water Association will bring together water industry leaders, technical specialists and decision makers to explore the theme of Biosolids in the Circular Economy.
At the conference, Marlene will be discussing emerging trends and markets in biosolids, with her presentation on ‘Moving Towards Maximum Biosolids Reduction: Ultra-Dewatering of Sludge’. Marlene’s work focuses on creating wastewater treatment plants of tomorrow, which are energy positive and maximise the recovery of resources. After four years working in Singapore as R&D Project Manager and establishing a SUEZ subsidiary in the country, she joined SUEZ’s Treatment Infrastructure team in her present role as Innovation Project Manager. Marlene’s currently responsible for Dehydris Ultra, an innovative technology which drastically reduces biosolids disposal whilst offering very low energy demands compared to conventional high dryness technology.
