SUEZ partners with the NSW Government to assist in recent flood cleanup
SUEZ is proud to be partnering with the NSW Government to assist local communities on the mid-north coast as they clean-up from the recent devastating floods.
Once waters subsided, the SUEZ disaster recovery team quickly established three temporary transfer stations in Port Macquarie, Kempsey and Taree allowing for the efficient removal and disposal of the communities’ irreparable and destroyed belongings.
In just two weeks, the facilities have received a combined total of around 12,000 tonnes of waste, including a large quantity of mattresses, white goods and green waste.
Our team is now working with the NSW Government and relevant local authorities to recycle and relocate the waste from the temporary transfer stations.
