The World Health Organization (WHO) has now classfied COVID-19 as a ‘pandemic’. A pandemic, in WHO terms, is ‘the worldwide spread of a disease’. It's still unclear how severe the virus is, and how far it will spread.
Our leadership team meets daily and is guided by advice of government health authorities, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and other agencies.
Safeguarding our teams, our customers, our communities, supply chains and business continuity is a top priority for SUEZ.
We have robust business continuity plans in place to maintain service delivery to our customers and clients. SUEZ has also developed a pandemic response plan, in addition to its business continuity plans, which has escalating control measures, including safe hygiene practices, compartmentalisation, and isolation of relevant workers.
