Food & garden organic waste gets put in bins or containers with a green or burgundy lid or signage.

What happens to food & garden organic waste?
Food & garden organics is sent to either an Organic Resource Recovery Facility (ORRF) or an Advanced Resource Recovery Facility (ARRT) for processing; once here the material begins its process to be converted into compost, soil conditioner and mulch products.
