Palm Trees and Fronds
Palm trees and fronds have a very high fibre content, which means processing is often much more difficult for this material than for other types of garden waste.
What else can I do with my palm trees and fronds?
Starting a worm farm or compost bin is a great way to recycle organic material from the garden and kitchen. Worm farms are also great for apartment balconies – a well-maintained worm farm won’t smell! If you have young children in the house, it can also be a fun project for them to work on with you.
