SUEZ NSW COVID 19 Update - Public Drop-offs and Transfer Station Facilities

At SUEZ, safety is our priority. We are adhering to NSW Health advice to keep our customers, our communities and our staff safe. If you are travelling greater than five kilometres to reach a SUEZ public drop-off/transfer station facility and you are not considered an essential service provider, then you are in breach of NSW Health’s stay-at-home order. Please do not visit a SUEZ NSW public drop-off or transfer station unless it is an essential activity. Enforcement agencies are regularly monitoring our facilities for compliance. For essential service providers, please wear a mask and register with the site QR code when visiting our facilities.

 

Since opening in 1995, our waste management centre at Ryde has provided a convenient service for the disposal and recycling of a broad range of materials to residents, businesses and local councils in Sydney’s north and north-west.

Households and small businesses can recycle computers and televisions free of charge at this site as part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme.

Ryde Transfer Station
SUEZ’s transfer stations are a vital link in our network of resource recovery, recycling and waste management facilities. Seven Hills waste transfer station provides a consolidation point for mixed waste so that it can be sorted for transport to our MRFs or ARRTs, where it will be processed for maximum recycling and recovery.

At SUEZ, we take our responsibility to the safety of the people and the environment seriously.


All visitors to SUEZ facilities must observe site safety requirements, including wearing enclosed footwear at all times.

 

SUEZ Environment Report Hotline

SUEZ has dedicated Environment Report Hotline for anyone living, or working, near one of our facilities in New South Wales and Victoria.


The hotline has been set up to receive feedback on environmental matters which are sometimes associated with recycling and waste management facilities – like odours, noise, dust and mud tracking.

 

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your call will always be answered by a real person - not just an automated message - who will enter your feedback and forward it immediately to the staff at the facility. This allows us to take immediate action to determine the cause of any concerns you may have, and gives us the best chance of rectifying the situation quickly.

 

A SUEZ employee will endeavour to contact you within 24 hours with feedback on your report.
